Looking west down our pretty and peaceful block in Manhattan

We live in a lovely apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Our building is safe, secure and full of all kinds of families. We chose the location because our block is close to everything you can imagine. We have the best of both worlds: a lively city life and beautiful nature.

In spring, summer and fall we spend a lot of our free time outdoors. Within walking distance, there is both Central Park and Riverside Park. These parks include many amazing playgrounds, dog runs, big grassy areas perfect for picnics and playing sports and lots of trees. Best of all, the Central Park Zoo has leopards, penguins, seals, sea lions and monkeys. The Hippo playground located at Riverside Park down the block from our apartment has an annual Children’s Summer Concert Series and an Annual Children Halloween Parade.

In winter months, there are many places we visit, including the American Museum of Natural History with the new Titanosaur dinosaur exhibit, the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, and the St. Agnes branch of the NYC Public Library, which features children’s rooms and programs.

We also enjoy going to shows and concerts at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and of course, Broadway.
